June 2011 Sketch Challenge
Hello fellow bloggers! I hope you all are enjoying the start of your summers. It has been crazy hot here in SC which has kept me indoors as much as possible (I hate summer with a passion as I can't stand being hot). It's time for the monthly sketch challenge by Shannon White, The Sketch Lady . This sketch was meant to focus on the "burst" in the background. I have never worked with a burst like this and decided to alter mine to a "flower" to fit my pictures. Here is Shannon's sketch this month: This layout was included in a scrapbook I made for my oldest niece as a graduation present. She was such an adorable kid (and gorgeous young lady now) and I couldn't resist using these pictures of her and my nephew. It's hard to believe that she's already graduating (where did the time go?!). I kept the layout as simple as I could as I didn't want to overwhelm these cute pictures.
