All That Scrap For Me

Hello friends! Thanks for stopping by today! I have a few quilled cards to share with you today. I had the pleasure of teaching another class at my local AC Moore store and these were the cards I showed them today. I can't share the specific details of how these were made as there was a fee for the class (and that wouldn't be fair to those who paid for it). I can give you some tips though when trying to make these at home :).   For this one, the best piece of advice I have for you is to design your flowers first before glueing the pieces down. This will ensure that the flowers lay down how you want them to rather than be "stuck" and then out of shape (thus causing you to hate your project). For this one, be patient and practice, practice, practice! To get the bells "even", try various sizes of paper and pick your favorite size. Make notes as to what sizes your using as you go along so that when you find "the perfect fit", you'll know...

Howdy!! I'm on a roll posting on this blog :). I'm still horrible at the formatting though so please be patient with me as I learn how to work it. I've been on a quilling kick lately and will be teaching a "step up" sort of class at Whimsy this coming Sunday from 2 - 4. I am a HUGE supporter of the local stores and am really thankful for the opportunities I have been given to teach some classes. So, without further ado, here are the projects we'll be doing. Don't worry, if you've never quilled before, you can still do this class!! The chart that we are going to create is going to most helpful for those that haven't done a ton of quilling. Hello!! I can't believe it's been so long since I've blogged. I have been so super busy at work and home life but I am determined to bring this thing back to life!! I am very fortunate to have TWO brand new scrapbook stores open up locally in the last few months - Whimsy and Easy As Cat Soup . I am super excited that they BOTH have allowed me to start teaching at their stores. My next class will be at Easy as Cat Soup on December 3, 2011.
